Newsfeed Update

There are two ways airfreight enters a project cargo plan. One is as a last resort. The other is the correct decision from the start. For most project cargo, sea freight is the right mode. Practical, cost-effective, suited to large, heavy equipment over long distances. But for certain components, precision parts required immediately at installation and tied to an offshore schedule that cannot flex, sea freight was never viable. The window is too short. The lead time too long. Air charter is not the emergency response. It is the only plan that was ever going to work. At Transcar, we assess the right mode from the start of planning. When air is the answer, we have the charter capability and operational experience to execute it. Have time-critical project cargo with a tight window? Speak to an expert.
