Newsfeed Update
The right mode of transport is whichever one keeps the project on schedule.
Sea freight, air freight, road haulage, rail, breakbulk, RoRo. Each has its place. The expertise lies in knowing which combination to use, in which sequence, under which constraints, and being ready to switch when the job demands it.
We did exactly that for a regular client who needed four Nitrogen Generator Skids transferred urgently from planned sea freight to air. The units were rapidly modified for safe air transport and loaded onto a flight overnight. They arrived at the installation site in perfect alignment with the project schedule.
That response is only possible when a logistics team understands every available mode and has the relationships to activate them quickly.
At Transcar it is not a contingency capability. It is how we work.
