Newsfeed Update

The packing decision is made at the fabrication yard. The consequences show up everywhere else. How equipment is packed determines which vessels can carry it, which trailers can support it, and whether it can be lifted at discharge without specialist equipment. Get it wrong and options disappear. These decisions are often made by the manufacturer, without input from the logistics team. By the time the cargo arrives at port, they are irreversible. At Transcar, we prefer to be involved before the packing specification is finalised. A small conversation that prevents large problems.
