India has completed a 1,506-kilometre fully electrified freight railway. This is what infrastructure investment at national scale looks like.
The Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, connecting Dadri in Uttar Pradesh to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Terminal in Maharashtra, reached completion in April 2026. Freight trains on the corridor can now operate at up to 100 km/h, relieving congestion on existing lines and improving transit predictability for industries across the country.
Infrastructure of this scale reshapes supply chains across entire regions.
At Transcar, major civil and infrastructure projects are a significant part of what we do. Moving the equipment that builds the corridors, the power stations and the industrial facilities that underpin developments like this is work we have been doing for nearly five decades.
From heavy civil construction components to large-scale industrial equipment, we understand the freight complexity that sits behind every major infrastructure project.
