Newsfeed Update
Four vessel charters. Four heavy lifts of up to 400 tonnes each. Multiple origins across Europe and North America. One delivery window.
A recently completed project freight operation delivered 17,000 cubic metres of transformers to a power generation project in Northern Ireland, involving months of advance planning, detailed bridge assessments and close coordination with local authorities. The generators were reported to be among the heaviest items ever transported overland in Northern Ireland.
This is the kind of operation the project freight industry does at its best. Multiple origins, multiple modes, a single coordinated delivery window and no margin for error.
At Transcar, complex multi-origin movements into fixed delivery windows are exactly the type of work we are built for.
Remarkable logistics. A great result for the project.
