Newsfeed Update

Four letters on a freight quote can shift a lot of cost, and all the risk that comes with it. Liner terms: the carrier pays to load and unload. FIO (free in and out): you do. FIOS: you also pay for stowage. FIOST: and for trimming too. On general freight it's just a line on the invoice. On a heavy lift it decides who books the riggers, who plans the stow and who answers if a lift goes wrong. A lower rate on FIO terms can hand you a job you're not set up to run. We match the terms to whoever is best placed to run each step, before anything is signed. Comparing quotes on different terms? Pass them to us and we'll show you who's responsible for each lift. #ProjectCargo #BreakBulk
