Five countries. Five processing plants. One logistics partner across the entire series. Transcar managed the logistics for PTA plant construction in Indonesia, the UK, Pakistan, Thailand and Portugal. PTA plants produce the raw material used in plastics and polyester manufacturing. The components, including large reactors and DH columns, are heavy, complex and unforgiving to handle. Each site had different port conditions, permit requirements and inland access constraints. Each received a logistics plan built specifically to that location. All five plants were delivered on time and without incident.
