ADNOC has sanctioned the Umm Shaif Gas Cap project in Abu Dhabi, one of the largest offshore gas investments in the region this year. Three EPC packages have been awarded for large-scale offshore infrastructure, with commercial production targeted for 2030. Source: ADNOC, July 2026. Developments of this scale generate years of logistics work before a single cubic foot of gas is produced. Modules, pressure vessels and subsea components all need to move from fabrication yards across the globe to an offshore installation programme. That planning starts now, not once engineering is finalised. The Gulf region and this type of work are familiar territory for Transcar.
