A port inspector can stop a ship from leaving. If your cargo's on board, it's stuck too. Port State Control (PSC) officers can board foreign ships in their ports and check safety, certificates and condition. Find a serious problem, including badly secured cargo, and they can detain the ship until it's fixed. Most detentions have nothing to do with your cargo. But if your heavy unit is on board, it isn't going anywhere either. That's why we look at a ship's inspection record, not just its availability, before putting client cargo on it. And our own securing and paperwork are prepared to stand up to an inspector. Choosing a ship for a heavy lift? Ask us what we check before we book one. #ProjectCargo #BreakBulk
