Newsfeed Update

A new plant can absorb a late delivery. A plant shut down for maintenance can't. A turnaround is a planned shutdown. The plant stops producing so it can be inspected, repaired and upgraded, and every day offline costs revenue. That's why shutdowns are planned to the hour. For logistics, that changes everything. Replacement vessels, exchangers and spares need to be on site before the shutdown starts. Deliveries happen inside a working site, often at night, under the plant's own safety rules. On a new build, a late piece waits. On a turnaround, it extends the shutdown. We plan turnaround deliveries to the shutdown schedule and stage the cargo close by, ready to move the moment the plant is. Shutdown coming up? Share the scope and dates, and we'll build the delivery plan around them. #ProjectLogistics #HeavyLift
