210 kilometres on public roads. Then the real challenge began. A 300-tonne fractionator was recently transported from Bucharest to the Petrobrazi Refinery using modular trailers. The road movement was significant. It was not the hard part. Source: Breakbulk News, August 2026. Inside the refinery, clearances of 4.5 to 4.8 metres blocked the internal route. The solution: hydraulic jacking onto temporary rails, controlled skidding through each restriction, back onto the trailers. The last few metres inside an operating plant are often the hardest.
